Diabetics should be Careful about Jam too

People with diabetes are advised to add jam as an alternative to sugar. Jaggery is naturally recommended as a substitute for sugar for dessert (when taking moderate sweets to keep diabetes at bay).
Continuing to add jam when you have diabetes can raise blood sugar levels. 10 grams of jam contain 9.7 grams of sugar. So even if the diabetes is under control it should be carefully added to the eatables.

It is important to clean the jar before using it. Taking it when the jam is freshly made can lead to diarrhea. Some people use freshly made jam and it can cause constipation.

Not only Jam soft drink also have too much sugar. 180 ml soft drink have 30gm sugar. As much as possible we avoid all foods which have more sugar.
