In some rural areas in West Africa desperately in need for business establishment have actually been ignored as a result of increasing rate of various natural disasters faced by these areas . Natural disasters such as flood is actually one of the natural disasters that have destroyed majority of established businesses today . It was researched and studied during the year 2016 that some good and promising established businesses were destroyed as a result of flood back in the year 2016 . Sometimes natural disasters are not the only kind of disaster that affect business . Man-made disasters such as electricity misconnection is actually one of the man-made natural disaster that have destroyed majority of businesses today . Electricity wrong connection could lead to fire outbreak , possibly inside a business organisation and this could lead to damage of business stock and inventories .

In the case of reliving flood attack to business , the government must endeavour to have the business and financial interest of its citizens at heart . They should build large water drainage so that rainfall could pass through safely without having to damage any property . In the area of electricity wrong connection it is advised that a business organisation do not take electricity connection into their hands rather it is advised to call a well certified electrician to handle the problem so as to avoid any negative repercussions .

I will disagree with you on this, because you didn't point out where in Africa that natural disasters have hundred their progress in business. Here in West Africa notably, I will tell you that, we aren't facing issues of natural disasters like, earthquake, hurricane, tsunami etc. The issues we are facing here in West Africa is bad government, who aren't taking human development as priority, all they care is about their own personal pockets and how their family gonna thrive. Businesses aren't suffering cos of natural disasters in West Africa. Rather, the most common thing in West Africa is poverty, inflation, and bad governance. What causes it all,is the bad heads we have here in some west Africa, not all west African countries are having such kind of bad heads, some are more cruel than others. I wouldn't mention names, I believe majority of us here knows about them, and acknowledge the fact that west Africa and the rest of Africans aren't growing as they should, due to the presence of this bad leaders, who are mainly old folks, with minimal strength and knowledge to drive the affairs of the countries higher. Things will get better only when the good leaders comes on-board.

Basically the only natural disaster that we only face here in Nigeria that totally him that's the existence and obstruct the minds of others who want to go into business is the natural disaster of flood . It is something crazy to think that water itself could be useful to mankind but yet water itself could be an obstruction and hindrance to some people to establish business . In some riverine region of West Africa majority of people have actually disqualified their intentions to establish a business in such area because they are so afraid to face problems such as flood .
