@Kola I could not agree more with what you stated up there, sugar is very dangerous to human health it is like a potential killer. As we all know that excess of anything is not good for health, the same thing happened to sugar consumption. People should moderate the way and their rate of sugar consumption and other sugary drinks.

The dangers of consumption of sugar most especially in excess is very serious. Excess sugar consumption have more effect on human weight loss than anything else. Consuming too much of sugar or sugary drinks are a potential killer. Below is what excess sugar intake can do to human body;

Consuming too much of sugar is very hazardous, excess sugar intake can suppress human immune system, it is also said that excess sugar intake can cause hypoglycemia ( low blood sugar) to the human body.

Eating too much of sugar can also caused obesity in human body. The excess of sugar intake can also contribute to the increased in level of cholesterol.

Lastly, excess sugar intake can rot or discolor human teeth, it can also increase the risk of developing diabetes, which can also leads to gaining extra weight. They can also caused headaches, including migraines. And it is also said that eating too much of sugar can cause depression.

Consuming too much sugar can contribute to long-term health problems.

If you’re consuming a lot of extra calories through added sugars, increased hunger is one of the first signs.
Sugar can affect the hormones in the body that control a person’s weight. The hormone leptin tells the brain a person has had enough to eat. They can affect your body composition, they can also mess with your skin by contributing to wrinkles and sagging

Sugar feeds bacteria that live in the mouth. When bacteria digest the sugar, they create acid as a waste product. This acid can erode tooth enamel, leading to holes or cavities in the teeth. High-sugar diets have been shown to increase the production of oil and androgens (hormones).
All of these issues are risk factors for heart disease and other heart issues such as heart attacks.
Some studies have linked sugars to mood disorders like depression. In addition to blood sugar swings, sugar can mess with the neurotransmitters in your brain that regulate your moods.
Consuming sugar has been linked to high blood pressure and inflammatory changes in the body.
Diabetes is one of the most insidious health problems associated with sugar consumption and, unfortunately, its prevalence is on the rise.
