I remember some time ago when someone was teaching me how to do email marketing and the first thing he said is that whenever you want to send email at the first time you don't need to put the link to purchase your product there. But he said I should rather teach people one or two things and add value to their lives and from there they will trust whatever you are promoting . So it is very important to add value first.

In my opinion to get quality traffic we should use paid tools. Because there are many free ways to get or generate traffic to our website and hope they can buy our product or services. But most of the free traffic is just like they only will click the our link without even want to buy it. This is very bad since we need someone to buy our product. That's way paid tools is more efficient to generate quality traffics.

Yes you are right. This is very common mistake and most newbie do this thing. In my experience, I've receive many emails that offer something just like product and they put the price on that email. When I see the price, I really don't want to continue or buy that product. That's way marketing strategy is very important one.
