Majority of business owners today have indulged in the behaviour or attitude of Misinforming their customers , clients , and consumers about what a particular goods or services doors or what they are to expect from using a particular goods or services been bought or rendered from them . Some customers , client , and consumers are not experienced in the use of most customer goods and services sometimes it is even their new attempt to use a particular goods and services and many business owners misinform this newly found business patronizers of theirs , so as to make business sells and accumulate business profit . Some misinformation are no doubt to done intentionally or indeliberately but majority of misinformation are done deliberately and knowingly .

Misinforming a particular consumer , customer , or client about a goods or services that he or she bought or got rendered from you , has a negative business repercussion or result . When a customer or consumer is lied to by a business owner concerning a particular goods or services , what usually or mostly happens is lack of distrust toward the business owner , and discontinuing of customers loyalty towards your business organisation . As a business owner you must understand that your customers and clients satisfaction and comfortability is paramount and solely determines the rate of potentials your business has to make profits and has to flourish , so know what you tell your customers and clients , so as not to misinform them , thereby killing their trust and loyalty they had towards you and your business organisation .
 
That would be unprofessional and totally against the business ethics. It's unfortunate that businesses are doing this intentionally or unintentionally. Customer service and customer satisfaction is the topmost thing to run a business. It takes a lot of effort to develop a trust with consumers. And just a single wrong doing of this sort is enough to ruin the business in no time. It's not only important to develop a trust with customers but also equally important to maintain that. Businesses that have run for so long and are a brand in themselves are examples where one can see how a consistent approach to customer service and satisfaction helps a business run for generations.
Some might have opted this as a short cut to earn quick money. But they should know it well that there is no short cut when it comes to success and building a reputation. They might see an initial profit. But very soon this approach would backfire. And especially in this era of social media where a consumer has so many platforms to let his voice be heard. Customer feedback goes viral these days due to these social media platforms. Consumers are more aware of their rights. And so it becomes even more important for the business to be credible. Misinformation is a crime and violation of consumers rights.
 
Lying to your customer about a particular goods or commodity so that you will be able to sell it to them is totally abnormal and unreasonable in the life and existence of every business . A good reputation business owner , is actually known as a result of his ability and attitude of being sincere and honest and all his dealings and doings towards his clients and customers and to be very much sincere it is very important that we understand that client and customers are more likely to patronize and buy from a business owner that is totally truthful and sincere in all his actions and intentions towards them .

When a business owner is untruthful it is more likely that such business owner may end up going bankrupt and liquidated because when a business owner is totally sincere and honest in everything that he does his reputation is clearly going to be seen by members of the public . Clients and customers of a particular business organisation are only drawn and encountered to a business owner that is truthful and sincere and most importantly very honest . You do not have to risk the benefit and importance of your clients and customers just to be able to sell a particular commodity that probably could be fake or does not performed a particular action in which the client or customer totally needed it for . You can recommend a client or customer to another colleague of yours who possibly may have what he or she wants .
