It's hard to keep your blood pressure down. But it's not impossible! Here are some tips for how you can get your blood pressure down and keep it down:

1. Exercise regularly!

This has been shown to reduce blood pressure and improve heart health, so try incorporating some exercise into your daily routine; even just a few minutes each day can make a difference in your life!

2. Maintain healthy eating habits

Don't eat too much salt, sugar or saturated fats (like those found in meat and dairy products). If you are diabetic, watch what you eat because these foods can raise blood sugar levels too quickly which can lead to high blood sugar levels and cause dehydration which leads to high blood pressure!

3. Stop smoking

Smoking is a major cause of high blood pressure. It also causes you to lose potassium, which can lead to kidney problems.

4. Reduce sodium intake

Sodium is found in many types of foods, including processed foods and fast food. If you want to lower your blood pressure, reduce your sodium intake. This is especially important during pregnancy when you’re more likely to develop pre-eclampsia or eclampsia, which can be fatal if not treated immediately with high doses of corticosteroids (such as hydrocortisone).

5. Eat more fiber

Fiber can help slow down the rate at which food is digested into blood sugar and absorbed into the body by acting as a bulk that slows down digestion and absorption so that less sugar enters the bloodstream at any given time. It also helps prevent constipation by promoting regular bowel movements (as opposed to hard stools).
