Telemarketing refers to approaching the customer on the phone and trying to sell them goods or services. This kind of marketing startegy is also considered one of the worst ways to market your good or services by many people because the customer often uses abusive language on the phone. Telemarketing is still being practiced around the world and most of the people are never interested in the products offered by the company and this is why companies try their best to collect data of customers who actually need the product. However, most of the people are still critical towards this kind of marketing method and people never like it. But what do you think? Is it really the worst kind of marketing method or do you think that it can be improved?

In the early days of the internet telemarketing was the standard for promoting retail products. That is what we see now in social media and in affiliate marketing. The telemarketing is now being done by call center agents. That is called outbound calls which means they agent calls a prospective customer. They say that it is a very stressful job to do telemarketing. And maybe I can agree to that.
