A particular kind of job is related to a particular kind of field. In this manner, a telemarketing job is related to marketing and advertisement field. A telemarketing job refers to a kind of job that involves a marketing agent of a company to sell the products using different methods of communications such as telephone. They tend to use phones or computer generated calls to promote the products to the general public so that they might try to find the right kind of customer. It is really hard to convince people to buy products on the phone and I think this alone is one of the most difficult aspects of this job.

A telemarketer might face really horrible people who always abuse telemarketers on the phone and this could lead to psychological problems. I think this alone is one of the biggest problems apart from salary. Of course a low salary is also one of the biggest disadvantage of this kind of job. Many telemarketers earn around $150 per month in my country and this is quite low amount of money. Some telemarketers work out of their homes, which is considered advantageous by many people because it reduces overhead expenses associated with running a business. However, it can be difficult to work out of your home due to distractions like family members and pets.
