Butter is an item made from animal fat that contains saturated fat. The risk of consuming excessive butter is that it can increase cholesterol levels in the body, because of which the risk of diabetes, stroke, and heart attack is greater.

Butter is a very popular item in a lot of households. This item is very often found and used daily in almost all homes, starting as an item of bread spread to substitute as cooking oil, to flavoring a variety of dishes.

Although a study says saturated fat is not directly related to these diseases, it is still advisable to limit the consumption of butter. To understand the dangers of butter, it is best to first identify the types of fat contained in food.
