Taking too much of salt is not advisable as you have just said. Too much of everything is bad and I believe taken too much salt cause a lot of havoc in the body system, especially in the internal organ of a human being. The excess salt intake make the internal organ to weak and cause stomach pain when it react with the stomach enzymes that digest foods.
Most of the people with high blood pressure were restricted to take salt, taking of salt too much easily increase the blood pressure.
The person with high blood pressure are advised by doctor to restrict from salt, because too much salt cause heart problem like coronary artery which can lead to stroke or cardiovascular disease and on.

What you are saying is exactly the truth . That is one of the reason why older people are always advise not to take too much salt in their food . Sàlt may have a lot of benefits as it can help sweetened and make food tastier but at the same time it is much more dangerous if it is being taken in large quantities most especially for people who are above the age of 40..

Well personally I also try and limit how much salt that I take , I do not really need it much. A lot of people will always choose to put salt in the little things they cook, even on white rice they are cooking to eat with stew..

In as much as we have the right to eat whatever we like, at the same time we have to put our health into consideration,. That's very important

When you consume too much salt, it can lead to a number of health problems. The most common side effect is high blood pressure, which can cause heart disease. However, there are also other serious conditions linked to high blood pressure, including stroke and dementia.

If you're concerned about your sodium intake and want to reduce your risk of these problems, here are some tips:

1) Eat more fresh fruits and vegetables. These foods have low sodium content and are good sources of potassium, vitamin C and fiber.

2) Do not use canned or processed foods as your main source of sodium intake. They contain high amounts of salt and preservatives that may increase your risk for heart disease or stroke.

3) Avoid using salt shakers on the table when eating meals. Instead, use a fork or spoon to add salt to your food.
