Obesity is the common problem that we seen in various people and due to obesity and high body fat they become indulge in various kinds of diseases for example heart dieases, blood pressure, bone pain and diabetes etc people think that ìf they do diet and eat small amount of food and avoid any kind of oily and fast food then they will gain normal body weight and burn their fat but only diet does not work as you tell in your post yes daily excercise is very important you become gain weight when you become sit down after eating and do not do long walk because walk is very important in order to digest your food .Diet is also a very important factor but useles without excercise because when you do excercise you become sweating which burn your fat and maintain your body weight we can also eat any kind of food with doing daily exercise. Many people using different kinds of medicine in order to lose their weight but they don't know how it will effect them during excercise your all parts of body are moving and your whole body are sweating which helps the fat to burn out and eat only healthy diet for example take vegetables and fruits

You are not loosing weight because you are eating too much fat.when you take too much junks you tend to get fat because junks contain extreme fat but when you take junks and you want to loose weight it's not possible.so try to stop junks if you want to loose weight.also try to always do exercise.
