Losing weight with water

It is often advised that it is better to take just water than taking any other liquid , if you want to lose weight. This is true because water has no calories unlike other drinks or liquids that contain a lot of calories. The truth remains that drinking water therefore, increases the amount of calories a person can burn which is otherwise known as resting energy expenditure. So how can you use water to reduce your weight?

Take water before taking your food:

This will help you curb your appetite and you would eat little which means, you would be taking in less calories. Remember that calories is the culprit here, more calories, more fat and body weight

Take water when you feel hungry

Sometimes you might not want food but you are thirty. So if you feel hungry take water first and be sure it isn’t thirst that is the cause of the disguise hunger. This way you would save yourself the calories you would have taken from food instead of taking water that has no calorie.

Drink water first thing in the morning

Taking in water first thing in the morning can help flush out toxins from the body and leave you lighter. So instead of taking your tea or other liquids in the morning take water and see the difference.

Take intermittent water throughout the day

How else would you put hunger in check than sipping your water, from time to time? If you want to kill some cravings sip on your water. It will help keep you away from consuming unnecessary calories from unhealthy foods.

Hi Augusta. Thank you very much for your informative post and for your time. I fully agree with you that we can lose weight by drinking water. The ways you mention are really very helpful and if we follow these ways daily, we will be always fit and healthy.

Yes water helps the body to loose weight so drink a lot of it and get hydrated because it helps the body a lot.also Don take junks or sugary drinks they add to the weight and also cause stomach pain which leads to diabetes.also remember to go for regular medical check-up

Well stated, water is the appropriate liquid for the water especially when it comes to losing weight. you can't go wrong if you are looking at naturally losing the weight. it might not fall off immediately but it will still happen with time. So instead of stuffing self with too much calories from drinks take only water
