The cabbage soup diet is a very low-calorie weight loss programme that allows you to lose weight quickly. It is very difficult to follow on a daily basis due to its unique cabbage soup-based menu and should not last more than 7 days.
How to follow the cabbage soup diet?
Cabbage soup is satiating and fat-burning. You should eat it at the beginning of each meal (breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner). The soup should consist of several vegetables such as cabbage, tomatoes, garlic, onion, pepper, carrots, celery and parsley, but no potatoes. You can also add spices such as curry.
What foods are allowed on a cabbage soup diet?
Day 1: fruit
Day 2: vegetables
Day 3: fruit + vegetables
Day 4: bananas (maximum 3) + skimmed milk
Day 5: beef cooked without fat or poultry without skin
Day 6: beef, veal, poultry without skin and cooked without fat + vegetables
Day 7: brown rice, fruit juice with no added sugar + vegetables
What foods are forbidden during a cabbage soup diet?
The cabbage soup diet is very restrictive. With the exception of the recommended foods, all other foods are forbidden

Sweet products: jam, chocolate, biscuits, etc.
