In one of my thread already posted I clearly point out the meaning of a private enterprise or business organisation . But for more emphasis a private enterprise is said to be an enterprise or business organisation managed , owned , and facilitated by private individuals who form members of the private business sector . And also examples of private enterprises include : sole proprietorship , partnership , private and public limited liability companies , and commercial cooperative societies . In most regions of the world for example West Africa government should allow private individuals to establish private enterprises for the following reasons listed below .

HIGH RATE OF EFFICIENCY : most private industries and manufacturing firms owned and controlled by private individuals is known for their ability to be more efficient in management than public enterprises and this account for their large number in the economy .

CREDIT FACILITIES : many firms owned and controlled by private individuals acknowledge the existence of credit facilities . This is actually true many governmental firms may not offer or slightly acknowledge credit facilities just because they want to accumulate capital and revenue to sponsor order needed capital project in an economy . so in order to fill the role of providing credit facilities government should allowed in existence private enterprises .

When we consider the private enterprise in an ideal nation we will realise they are the ones that truly brings about development to a nation. All the advanced nations of the world do not joke with their small and medium scale enterprises. These two major micro businesses are what truly holds an economy as they are much more closer to the people and they determine the final prices of goods and services that is coming out from the factories and even from foreign countries.

Government is suppose to support this category of business men and women. But the reverse is the case as we see that the government of the day has show no interest in helping this category of business people to survive, rather they make rules and regulation that does not favour this categories of business owners. They make life very difficult for them by not providing stable power supply, for them to power up their businesses rather they depend heavily on gasoline generator to be able to generate energy to run their businesses. The sad aspect here is that the petrol is very expenses even in a country where there is crude oil, even the roads are bad and these business people find it difficult to transport their goods and services.
