When it comes to durable products, customers would always like to test the products before going ahead to pay for them. I personally believe that whenever the nature of a product allows, yh customers should be allowed to test the products before payments.

First of all, this would ensure that they are making an informed decision when paying you the products, saving you the inconvenience of returns and refunds. Also allowing customers to test the products before payments would also help in products development to customize the products to suit the customers. It also fosters loyalty amongst customers When they can test a product, they are tend to believe that the confidence of the business to allow them test is an indicator that the products is the highest quality.

If the kind of products you sell allows that customers should test the products before they pay for it, then you should provide an allowance for them to. The mere thought that the business allows them to do so is capable of laundering the image of your business positively. There are people in my country that sell smartphones for as low as $5 but you are not allowed to test the smartphone before you buy. Nobody patronizes because customers want to have full knowledge of what they are buying by testing.

It obviously depends on the type of products that we are talking about because there are some products that are packaged to the extent that the customer or client may not have physical knowledge of how the product work but requires conversants information to actually be convinced that such a product is the best to be purchased. And the other hand if the product falls under the category of machinery then such product can be tested before it should be bought. Whatever the case may be it is importance that customers have full knowledge of a particular product before actually purchasing it whether in words or by physically testing it.

Depending on the type of product, for instance, testing must be carried out to ascertain that the item is up-to-par before any purchase. Testing clothing, electronics, or expensive items can make sure that they meet expectations. For example, some companies offer trial periods or samples to their customers as a means of making informed purchases. It is a physical interaction in store while it is only about descriptions in online. However flexible return policies put consumers at ease. On health grounds however there may not be any room to test them. Ultimately, offering testing opportunities can enhance the customer experience, build trust and increase satisfaction and loyalty levels among buyers. Whether to or not test products prior to payment depends on various factors such as type of product and consumer’s preferences which vary from one customer to another.
