Should a Business give incentives?

A product will look good and trustworthy if someone recommends that product to other people. But for this to work you should get a recommendation or testimony from customers who have already used the product.

So, you must give them some gifts in the form of attractive incentives. A testimonial incentive does not always have to be in the form of money. Any incentives given to customers can be in the form of product prizes or discounts on various products.

The idea of giving such small gifts as an incentive is with this incentive, the business company indirectly wins two parties towards its marketing goals of selling products.

In our culture it is customary to give a good customer a token like a personalized pen although lately it is the purse or the traveling bag aside from the umbrella (we live in a tropical country). With the product or service review that will be posted in the website or in social media would deserve a token if the review is positive. For a bad review it requires a good explanation on why the bad incident happened. The explanation should be diplomatic in a sense that you show your apology even if there is no direct accusation from the customer. Just remember that the customer is the lifeblood of the business so it is only right for you to be well-mannered and not antagonistic.

One of the way Businesses promote their products, especially in a competitive Environment is through the use of incentives

This is one of the way to retain customers ,because no one will not want to stock with a brand where he will be getting incentives .

This is why top companies like Amazon , Jumia and konga normally have what they call black Fridays ,where they sell products at a higher discount .

people who capitalize on this offer , will always return back to these companies in ordinary time ,just in appreciation to what they received .

However , start ups should not give incentives that can affect them financially
