You've probably heard that stretching helps prevent back pain.
What happens, though, if you are unable to complete a whole yoga session?

Here are some quick, easy ways to stretch your back:

1. Your knees should be bent when you sit in a chair with your toes flat on the ground. Lean forward until your hips are at an angle of 45 degrees, placing one hand on each armrest. Wait for a minute.

2. Lie on your back with your arms above your head and knees bent toward your chest (as if you were in a push-up position). Keep them straight and lift them off the floor until they're at about a 90-degree angle from the floor; hold for 30 seconds.

3. Lie on the floor with both legs straight out at about a 45 degree angle from the ground; rest one leg on top of another leg so that only one knee is touching the ground, then lift up until only one foot rests on top of another foot (this will be similar to doing an abdominal crunge). Hold for 30 seconds each side.
