Procrastination is a killer of success. No matter how good your ideas, skills, opinions, or actions might be, if not used at the proper time, your work done could be zero.

Procrastination will take root immediately when you feel a task might be too complex, when you feel you don't have the suitable idea or skills to execute the task or the assumption the task will get you bored. How do you conclude these without even trying?

I noticed picking up my pen sometimes becomes too difficult, but once I do, I will beg myself to let go.

Here is my simple 7-minute rule.

Have you tried tricking yourself? Sounds stupid, I know. Don't worry this will be fine. The trick makes it more interesting.

Do this when you perceive Procrastination.

Strike a deal with yourself to start a task for just 7 minutes. After this time, you can put an end to everything you are doing at that point and do something else. There is a greater tendency of continuing that particular task, because you have passed the first stage of difficulty and developed some interests or zeal.
