Hypertension is a persistent rise in blood pressure above the generally accepted value with respect to the patient's age and sex it is a common worldwide problem less than half of patients are aware that their hypertensive of this only half of them receive adequate medication there are many factors that affect this blood pressure it can be a mood obesity sex diet and cigarette smoking and also increased salt intake and this hypertension causes a lot of problems to the health like the brain eyes hurt and the kidney it affects the brain due to the occlusion and haemorrhage of the cerebral vessels stroke results leading to hemiplegia and it also affects the eyes by causing retinopathy why it affect the heart because of the way it affect the high blood pressure which leads to left ventricular failure or cardiomegaly the Coronary arteriesundergo thickening and gradually gets narrowed the patient then complain of several chest pain due to myocardial ischemia and this hypertension also affect the kidney by causing Renal failure but there are many ways that we can use to reduce the risk of developing this hypertension or blood pressure by modification of our lifestyle weight reduction and restriction of salt intake
