If you're looking for a great receptionist job, there are several things you can do to increase your chances of getting hired. First, make sure your resume is up to date and free of mistakes. Make sure you have experience answering phones and serving as the first point of contact for visitors. For example, if you worked at a front desk at a hotel or an administrative office, put that on your resume. If you worked as a receptionist for a doctor or dentist's office, mention those details. Also add in any other relevant skills that might be helpful to the position: computer proficiency, administrative experience, etc.
One thing to be careful about is not appearing too eager during the application process. You want to come across as professional and confident, but don't come off like you're desperate to get the job. It can make employers think you'll be too easily manipulated or distracted from work by other prospects that come along. Be honest in all of your interviews, but also keep it short and sweet. You don't want to talk too much about yourself or repeat what's already on your resume.

Finally, be ready with follow-up questions for the interviewer. For example, if they ask what your greatest weakness is, You should be able to reply with the right choice of answer.
