I would say - overall, it is good.

The good part of it is the cold wallet is offline, therefore if someone gets access to the cold wallet they will be unable to access the bitcoin.

The bad part is - since it is offline, there is no way to know how much bitcoin is in the cold wallet.

because cold wallet is a wallet that is not connected to the internet and therefore stands a far lesser risk of being compromised.

To me I just consider it as the best because you will be storing most of your cryptocurrency offline and there is no possibility that your wallet will be hack by an hacker. The cost of getting a cold wallet might be the problem that is why a lot of people preferred to store their cryptocurrency in an online wallet like trust wallet and binance.
