Today , I want to bring to your knowledge about cold wallets. We are familiar with cryptocurrency wallets and E- wallets such as payeer , Skrill , paypal ,etc .
Cold wallets are also called hard wallet and offline wallet . It is cold because it is not connected to the internet , and thus cannot be compromised easily.
The wallet is only connected online when there is need for a transaction ,after that ,it is disconnected from the internet.
The benefit with this type of wallet is that it can't be hacked easily by hackers because it is normally offline , however to use it requires proper knowledge of it ,less one will end up losing his coin in the end.
The wallet address and the private keys are embedded within. It is usually very costly. An example is Trezor wallet .
