Whether as a business man, a manager of whatsoever set up, entrepreneur and etc, your relationship with your workers is a very delicate part of your enterprise. The way you relate with your workers greatly affects the way they act and how the business moves.

So many people are advocates of a relationship where the manager or head gets to relate on a friendly basis and I also support this. But there are conditions where in the bid to achieve this, the relationship built becomes faulty and workers no longer respect you.

The effects of this is that your commands will not be taken with seriousness nor will they get executed. It diminishes your power and ability to pass judgement. This will have adverse effects on your business and how uniformly things will move on.

So I think In your bid to be friendly, make sure you build a kind of mutual respect between you and your workers.

It’s important for any business to build a strong and productive team, and this starts with making sure that your workers are answerable to you. When your workers are answerable to you it ensures that they take responsibility for their actions and that they are held accountable for their performance.

For starters, when your workers are answerable to you they are more likely to work harder and be more productive. This is because they know that they will be judged on their performance and that there will be consequences if they fail to meet expectations. This helps to keep them motivated and focused on the job at hand.

In addition, workers who are answerable to you are more likely to take initiative and be proactive in their work. They know that by taking initiative, they can make a positive impact on the business and that their efforts will be recognized and rewarded. This creates a culture of accountability, which encourages everyone to work together to achieve the company’s goals.

Finally, when your workers are answerable to you, it helps to create an open and honest dialogue between you and your employees. This is beneficial for both parties as it allows for constructive feedback and effective communication. This helps to create an environment of trust between you and your workers, which can go a long way in terms of fostering a productive and successful team.

So if you’re looking to build a strong and productive team, it’s essential to make sure that your workers are answerable to you. Doing so will ensure that your employees are motivated and productive, and that they are held accountable for their performance. This will ultimately lead to a more successful business and a better working environment for all.
