There is something that most business people fail to do and understand. That is the need to build people and in doing that build succession. Most successful businesses collapse after the death of the owners simply because the visionaries/ owners of those businesses failed to establish a succession plan. They fail to replicate themselves in other people.
I have seen so many businesses just end with the death of the owner. If you want to build a business that would last beyond you, you should consciously raise people that would take the vision and run with it after you are gone.
Also, when you need to open new branches. There is a need for capable hands to run and manage the branches. How would you achieve expansion and spread as a one-man team? Great leaders raise greater leaders too. For continuity in business, you need to build people that would run the vision beyond you.
