Migration by definition refers to the movement of people either into or out of a particular territory , in today's world everyone has the freedom of movement and so they can choose to go into a particular country or another , but yet urban to rural migration should not be regulated . It has always been rural to urban migration for to find better education , to find better jobs , to find better and clean food and water , to enjoy social amenities as well . But in a case where people living in urban areas move store rural areas this is usually caused as a result of some bad reasons , for example the cost of living in urban areas could be high so in order to survive then move to areas where cost-of-living can be relatively cheap .
Urban to rural migration for the purpose of establishing investments and other businesses is different from what I am talking about here , what I meant is the situation where people living in urban areas decide to move to rural areas not for the purpose of business establishment but for the purpose of survival . So with this factors that influence urban to rural migration include: urban related crisis , urban political instability , high cost and standard of living in urban areas etc . All these and many more are causes why people leave urban areas to reside in rural areas .
