The good thing about urban farming is, you don't have to spend so much bringing in your farm produce from the rural area. You won't even have your farm produce stolen or damaged on the way.
You can actually make money by growing food in the city. Select crops that sell in the urban area, those that have high market demands such as herbs, microgreens or specialty Vegetables. Sell your produce to local consumers in the farmers market. All you have to do is look for a free land, this might be difficult of you don't have one, but you can consider community land too, of they can lease. You can also offer educational workshop or consultation to people.
