I believe since an Auditor is in charge of making sure that there is check and balances in the company and making sure that the Account of the company or organization is well checked in order for the account to show a true and fair view.
The primary aim of having an Auditor in an organization or company is that:
(1) For An Auditor to express a professional opinion on the financial position of an enterprise as contained in the financial statement prepared by the management so that any person reading and using them can have faith in them.
The secondary objectivrs is :
(1) To prevent fraud and error
(2) To detect any form of irregularity
(3) Yo evaluate the effectiveness or other wise, of the internal control system within the enterprise.
(4) To assist the management in the establishment of effective Auditing system.
(5) To advice on financial matters for efficient decision making by the management.
(6) To ascertain and ensure that an enterprise conform with the statutory and professional requirements.
These are the usefulness of an Auditor in the company.
