A policy document is a formal document prepared by a company that outlines the guidelines and requirements expected from employees of the company. It is necessary for a business organisation or company to have a policy document. Of what use is a policy document to an organisation?

1) A policy document helps a company to clearly institute the guidelines it wants it's staff to follow. It highlights provisions like dress code, attendance and other acceptable behaviour expected from staff.

2) A policy document ensures that employees are treated the same without any form of confusion or ambiguity in handling particular issues that deal with staff treatment.

3) A policy document helps to communicate in clear terms the expected conducts expected from staff per
