You can market your products, services, and content in a variety of ways. However, the most important thing to consider while doing marketing is are the methods you are employing also generating sales for you?

Let’s say, you promote your blog on Twitter, do you receive traffic from Twitter? Or let’s say you are promoting affiliate products on your blog, are your visitors purchasing the products you have promoted on your blog.

Many people recommend using social media for marketing, however, the point to consider is whether your promotion has a conversion or not (getting traffic, sales, leads, etc.).

Even when you are running ads, you need to remember this point. You need conversion on your ads.

Thus, in order to become successful with your marketing campaign, you first need to build following on social pages (if you are doing social media marketing) or build traffic on blog (if you are marketing on your blog).

In order to market and generate sales, you need two things, money, and audience. If you have the money you can run ads and generate sales. If you have an audience, you can start promoting to your audience and generate sales. While advertising can help you generate sales, this is a costly method because your profit margin will be relatively small as you will have to deduct your advertising cost from your revenue. However, if you generate sales by promoting among your audience, you will be doing low-cost marketing and you wi have a high-profit margin. The second option is better, therefore, you will have t start building your audience. Building audience means you have followers on social media and subscribers on your email list. INterestingly, you will have to spend money to build followers as well as subsctibers. However, you do not have to spend money again and again.
