Let me ask you one simple question. If you want to know about your health, would you search for “health” on google? Or, would you use “heart health” on the search bar or perhaps be more specific and search for “improve heart health.” It is very likely that you will search for specific term.
The same rule applies while using keywords. It is very likely that your content will be never found if your keyword is “health” or even “heart health.” However, chances of getting high ranked increases by many fold id you use specific key phrase or search terms like “improve heart health” or even better option “foods to improve heart health.” These are generally referred to as long tail search terms.
If you are using long tail search terms or keyword phrase that contains additional or casual words, you may never get the desired results from your keyword usage. Technically, these words are referred to as stop words. When people are searching on Google, they never use the complete sentence.
How many times should you repeat your keyword phrase or long tail search term on your content? Well, the industry standard is 5 percent, or 50 times in an article of 1000 words. This is one of the generally accepted keyword usage rules.
