Hawking is a small-scale retailing business with small scope of operations it is also form of business in which dimensions move their goods from place to place either on their heads, by hand, by vehicles, of bicycles, they probably move their goods from house to house or from one place to anothera good feature about Hawking is that it requires more capital to operate and because it requires going from one area to another or from one settlement to another settlement it is cheap and easier to handle. Hawkers include door-to-door salesman and they can be seen in motor parks, bus stop, traffic lights, and on the streets, but the big question ask is walking a good form of business? Actually i wouldn't say yes or no for sure but what I can say is the disadvantages and advantages of Hawking: some of which include: it requires personal contact with the consumer which is also good, it is a relatively small size that is the scale of size of business is small, low prices that is the products involved in Hawking requires normally offered as low and negotiable prices, it requires no cost of advertisement that is to say walking involve no advertisement cost as product advertising and mostly by word-of-mouth on bells trumpet etc.
Some of the disadvantages of Hawking include exposure to the road accident how cars are exposed to dangers of road accident since trading activities are along the roadside, parking increase the rate of bad influence because young Hawkers are exposed to interact with young miscreant and it could bring you and wanted pregnancies for the female, also environmental pollution is also caused by Hawking since wrapping papers and other waste are thrown carelessly on the ground and gutters.
