When it comes to affiliate marketing, a lot of people promote premium products and services and try to earn commissions. For example, you promote a $100 product and if the product successfully sales, you earn $10 commission. However, it is really difficult to make money through this method because a lot of people just don’t buy products being referred by a random website or individuals. A better strategy to make money from affiliate marketing is referring free products.

How do you actually make money by referring free products?

When you are referring free products, your customers will likely to join the program or sign up for the free products. The free product is basically a freemium product (a product with limited features on free version and a premium version with better features). When people like the free version, they will end up buying premium version, thus, you make money.

I have never thought about this but I think this is a wonderful way to make money through affiliate marketing. When you refer to freemium products, and when your customers like the free product and end up buying the premium version you can make money. Consumers are so concerned these days that they don't buy any random product they see in the market even if they see it being beneficial. However, they are impressed with the word free, therefore, they will consider signing up for the product or service if it does not cost any money. There are a lot of freemium products available in the market and you can try referring these products to your customers. Binance and Coinbase are free services, however, when people you refer start using these platforms you will earn a commission. However, in order to benefit, you need to promote these products to the people who are actually interested in these products.
