If you watch stock market, you will notice declining asset prices and investor pessimism on a frequent basis. These are the basic characteristics of market corrections and bear markets. Market corrections and bear markets can be a frustrating time for investors but they also offer opportunities for investors. Let’s say you bought stock for $3 and the price goes down to $1 during the bear market. If you buy more stocks for $1 and later when there is a slight improvements in the price, you will profit even when you sell for $2. The most important thing to profit from the bear market is to maintain a long-term perspective.
