I actually have a plan of a home based business to cook snack foods that I would sell in the neighborhood. The capitalization is minimal and the profit is quite good. However, my relatives have cautioned me against the stress that the business can give. They even scared me of food poisoning and the consequences. That is the reason why my plan for the business has not materialized yet. I'm still in the evaluation stage.

Selling snack food is actually not a bad idea at all. People love snacking alot in between their meals. You have mentioned good reasons why they do so. Either due to depleted energy or feeling hungry a little time after a meal. Snacking is a great way to build up energy while waiting for your next meal.

I have never thought of doing this as an online business, it seems to do pretty well offline because these are mostly fast foods that people buy in a hurry and mostly impulsively. Therefore, having an offline store for them is really great. But at least online advertisement will come in handy.

This business requires you to really study the population around you. You have got to learn what snacks they prefer most. This may require you to do some research and surveys first before setting up the business. Some populations are totally against sugary snacks like cakes and sweets. Those might go natural with fruits and natural juices.

Online advertisement for this business may require you to only advertise to local people whom you can easily deliver the snacks to. So join as many local social media groups as possible. Also, ensure that you have proper storage for these snacks because things like fruits can go bad faster.

A snack food business can be a lucrative business if you live in a large neighborhood with a lot of children. Unfortunately, our village is not that populated. Many have tried setting up a snack food business selling dimsums, footlong hotdog sandwiches, french fries, and other local favorites. All of them simply gave up after a week or two of trying. Nowadays, many households are opting for homemade snacks or simple snacks like biscuits or bread as these options are cheaper and more satisfying. They could be saving on food or avoiding takeout foods due to pandemic-related health concerns. The prices of most snack items have risen up and this has caused demand to drop further. Many neighborhood snack vendors don't bother securing health permits and business licenses as they are usually low-capital businesses that come and go. Snack food businesses in the city proper are doing better since the economy is gradually opening up. Since they are located in commercial areas, they are usually required to secure both business and health permits.

I did sold snacks when I was a kid, I never really did it now. During the past when I did it we had lots of fruits to harvest from and place them on sale, people simply branched and buy from us. Currently now, the fruits are no more, house construction and other real estate development have taken them down, it's simply a shame, we didn't reserve some piece of land to replant them, by now, we could've been earning from.them, many in a bigger way, it's simply a mistake me and my family members did. We've learned from it, it is good to make reserves in case of emergencies. Maybe in the future I can decide to go again in such kind of business, in a broader way, no more in such kind of settings it was in the past. When you make the business centre look attractive, definitely people will come in max and keeps patronizing your snack/fruits business. Not everyone love buying anything called food from any location or business centres he or she sees, people got choice, that's why we need to make our snack business area attractive to attract whole lots of people to come patronizing us.

There are a lot of people that make so much money on this business in my country. The thing is that fast food have gained so much ground today and everywhere you turn, you'll see one fast food restaurant, small dealer or the other.
This is so because of the way our world has become so busy; there's rarely time for basic things such as laundry and the likes just like I was saying to someone earlier today.
