Due to greater popularity, Bitcoin and other cryptos may become less volatile in 2022.

Nonetheless, the recent drop serves as a harsh reminder of how fickle bitcoin and other crypto currencies may be.

Many investors flocked into bitcoin in 2017, and prices skyrocketed from from $1,000 per coin to well under $20,000 by December. Elward of Natixis Investments believes that more fund managers will be interested in cryptocurrencies, and that they will likely shift away from passively managed bitcoin ETFs that just track the direction of bitcoin futures.

The increase in adoption is due to the popularity of the cryptocurrency market. We Should be expecting a low volatility in the crypto space and a full-fledged bullish run is in the offing.
