In the year 2020, the Covid-19 outbreak in the world caused panic, confusion, and a lot of hassle for many businesses and the general public was suffering as a result. Since the economic impact of Covid-19 pandemic was so severe, many stocks fell and the market crashed severely. However, despite the fact that 2020 proved to be a disastrous year for many businesses, it proved to be great for the cryptocurrency investors. This is because the prices of cryptocurrencies rose a lot and I was actually quite surprised that the Covid-19 had no effect on Bitcoin price. However, a recently published article in a news website reads that the recent fluctuations in the bitcoin price was actually caused by the new variant of the Covid-19 virus called "OmiCrone" which originated from a few countries. So, what do you think? Do you think that this new variant can cause any problem for bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies? Please share your valuable thoughts!
