Why the Chances of Heart attack increase in winter?
A Heart attack can happen to anyone at any time, but because there are more chances of blood clotting in the veins over the centuries, the chances of getting a heart attack are also high in cold season.
The chances of having a heart attack are also higher in the winter season because the heart needs more oxygen during this season. In winter, the heart has to do extra work to maintain the heat in the body.
The heart needs more blood to do more work. When it is too cold, even the blood does not reach the heart with the right pressure. This is the reason that for long, the chances of heart attack increase more in winter than in other seasons.
