I don't know whether other people have seen or noticed that the mentally ill people or let me use the normal parlance, mad people, are somehow have strong immune system.
I have seen many mad people roaming the street without clothes even when it was extremely cold, or with large sore on their legs without treatment. It is even not uncommon seeing them eating from the ground and drinking from the gutter.
My curiosity made me to ask my biologist friend who educated me that we have both natural and artificial immunity. He told me being exposed to unhealthy environment at times is not the same with having health issue.
To make me convince, he corroborated his argument with small children who are exposed to playing with sand. Some like me, even ate sand when I was young yet I was not infected nor develop disease as a result of that.
In conclusion, exposing to unhealthy environment gives our bodies a stronger antigen to fight the new environment diseases.
