Here’s a great side hustle opportunity to earn hundreds of dollars for a few hours of work by recording your voice and some video on Voices .com.
The recordings will be used to improve existing text-to-speech (TTS) models. Projects like this allow companies to improve how well their AI products (think Alexa, Siri, or your in-car navigation) can understand the human voice, and how conversational it can sound when responding to you. But to clarify, your voice will not be heard coming out of a smart speaker—it’s just part of the training model.

It takes less than 15 minutes to audition. Just follow the instructions in the email.
Once your audition is accepted, this project involves you reading from a script and recording 1 hour of audio–including recording 15 minutes of video as you read the script.
You'll need to be able to record your voice without any background noises using a good quality microphone, and record your video using a somewhat recent smartphone. The instructions will provide more details.
If you are selected for this project, you will have the opportunity to earn more money on many similar projects in the future.

- Go to Voices .com, sign up and select the ‘Find Work as a Talent’ button. As you complete your profile, make sure to indicate your country and language.
- You’ll receive an email shortly—follow the instructions to audition for the job (the audition will take about 15 minutes).
- If you’re approved, you’ll hear from the Voices team and you can get to work!
