This is very common in the world of cryptocurrency ,because whenever there is news about the possibility of a coin rising to a higher price value , investors because of FOMO invests in the said coin(s) , and this in turn makes the price of coin to rise.
An example was the initial promotion that Bitcoin will reach $100,000 by end of 2021 ,and this has made people to keep investing in Bitcoin, which made the price to rise from $10k ( when the news began ) to $32k ( current price ).
2. FUD = FEAR , UNCERTAINTY AND DOUBT .
This is what normally causes panic sell , people sell when there is news that a coin may have a huge dip. Example ,is the lawsuit of Ripple by SEC .
