What Google Adsense is to publishers (website owners), Google Adwords is for advertisers (businesses). While you use Adsense to make money, you use Adwords to run ads campaign in order to generate traffic, leads, and sales.

Google is probably the number one online advertising company, therefore, by using Adwords you will be advertising your website, business, products, and services on Google-approved sites.

In order to run an ad campaign, you will need to create an AdWords account. You just need a gmail to create your ad account. Once you are in your account dashboard, follow these steps:

  1. Click on "Campaigns" and then choose "New campaign."
  2. Choose the type of campaign. Your choice of campaign depends on a lot of things, for example. Products you want to advertise, the audience you want to reach, etc.
  3. Provide your estimated ad budget and bid strategy.
  4. Create your ad ads. Your ad should include your primary and secondary keywords.
  5. Set up targeting options, such as location and language.
  6. Review your campaign and if you are satisfied launch it.
You need to remember, the success of your ad campaign depends on a lot of things and you will have to make sure your ad reaches the right people for better conversion. Choosing audience is very important.

Creating a Google Adwords campaign is a simple process. First, you'll need to create a campaign.

1. Click "Create Campaign" in the upper right-hand corner of the page.

2. Select a template from the list of templates that appears on the screen. If you don't see one that fits your needs, click "Customize" and fill out the form with information about your business or website and what kind of ads you want to run against it (for example, if you own a restaurant, you might choose Food & Beverage). Then click "Create Campaign."

3. When your campaign is ready for launch, click "Start AdWords Campaign" near the top right corner of the page where it says "Start campaign," then enter some basic information about yourself and your business into fields provided by Google before hitting "Submit."

When creating Google Adword campaigns, you need to remember two important things, how how much money you want to spend on ads and two who the audience for your ads ads. If you do not know your audience and start running ads on random site and any random location, you will not have conversion. If you are running ads, ad conversion is very important because you can get return on your investment only when there are conversions. If you have never tried Google ads, you should experiment with a small budget, once you build knowledge and skills on running an ad campaign, you can try with big budget.
