Heard that the number of Bitcoin ATMs has dropped by nearly 7,000 this year. It's like the biggest drop in the history of the cryptocurrency market! Did you know, even though the US has the most Bitcoin ATMs, most of the ones removed in 2023 were from the US market? Last week, the number of crypto ATMs in the US fell to 26,700, quite a drop from the 34,200 in December last year.
But here's the kicker—the number of Bitcoin ATMs in the US is still 18 times more than in Europe! Europe had around 1,500 Bitcoin ATMs last week, almost the same as in December.
