The Business of Religion

Religion is one of the oldest practice of man is seen as the worship of the supreme being by man. Recent developments in this time and age have got many wondering if truly religion is only the worship of the supreme being. Houses of worship have modernized their approach to religion that they almost compete with financial institutions over funds, management, and governance. Some of such institutions have grown so big that they own Businesses, Schools, and Networks that churn out profits.
This development has made so many question if truly Religion is not a Business. What do you think?

We have seen a lot of mosques or churches that form school in their name, and thereby making profit also they serve as a source of employment to their church or mosque member in other to cater and also serve as a source of income for them because they will employ them and pay them.

The aspects of business the religious bodies are not remove out of it. So the religious today are good in doing business some many business empires are being own by church. High school an even university. This are some of the ways the religious can do they're own business and they use that to chreat a job to there members. Man religious bodies today are depending on business.

I actually call religion as the best business because the only capital is the talent of talking. If you are good in convincing people to your belief then you can start gaining members or followers and eventually you can build your church with the contributions. One pastor who died the other day started with nothing but his knowledge of the Bible. Now his religion has huge assets.

One of the early struggle of karl marx was against the early church and that was what brought the issue of the poor getting poorer and the rich, richest.... The religion organisation has been monetize and they have their own group and their own different doctrine that will make you poor if you don't join them... The oldest church of roman catholic has their own history of emblezement and all... But all on all I respect people's religion.

In recent years, their has been an increase in the revenue generated by religious body, much of these is credited to the competence of the people on charge of such religious body, they have been able to utilize the fund gotten from the church into something very commendable, they have been able to build standard universities and other ventures.
