In our country, when a person takes a break to go have a coffee or any other snack, in general, this fact is associated with the idea that it is an unproductive break. It is considered a period in which work obligations are left to be attended to and, therefore, it is a waste of time, no matter how necessary a person feels that break at work.
Furthermore, another widespread idea is that, since you have more work than you can reasonably do and in those moments of rest you are not giving up, this stoppage at work negatively affects people's productivity. On the other hand, in many countries they work with a different mentality and in a different way.
