When I had my retailing business I was hiring only a female sales person. Friends would joke that I was fond of women but that is not so. In equal marketing skill of a man and woman the latter has the advantage because a woman has a natural appeal not just for the opposite sex but for the general public. A store attendant with a good diplomatic skills can enhance the marketing of the store because customers would feel comfortable so they would have the tendency to come back again and again. That may be a gender discrimination but I am just being honest with my opinion regarding the sales attendant.
