There is no doubt that different vaccines have been introduced to combat and prevent people against the Corona virus disease. However, the reception of people vary from country to country. In my country, Nigeria, it is very low and these are some of the reasons for this.
- Lack of trust : it is not a gainsaying that majority of Nigerians don't believe in their government. They always think the government doesn't care to the extent of protecting them from deadly disease like Corona.
- Ignorance : most Nigerians don't believe that Corona exits in Nigeria, they are it as an avenue for Nigerian government to collect aid from international bodies. The way there were different hanky-panky from the government side during the Corona virus era made the matter worst.
- Lack of awareness: to be factual, there is no more awareness on this vaccine collection.. They don't make enough jingles to sensitize the citizens on where to collect, why they should collect and how they will collect these vaccine.
- Different conspiracy theories : many Nigerians believe the vaccine is nothing but a does to decimate them. They claim that the white which are the the makers of these vaccine has already being try to decimate Nigeria's population.
- Religious belief: there are some people that believe that the vaccine is nothing but a sigh of end time and not to be encouraged by some sect of religious belief.
