Placing higher values on experience than qualifications

In many cases, employers are starting to place a higher value on experience over qualifications. This is especially true in fields where creativity and innovation are key, such as technology and marketing. Many employers are realizing that someone with the right experience can be taught the necessary qualifications, but it is much more difficult to teach someone how to be creative or innovative.

This trend is also being seen in the education sector. More and more students are choosing experiential learning opportunities, such as internships and study abroad programs, over traditional educational paths. This is because they realize that having real-world experience is more important than
having a degree. Finally, this trend is also being seen in the political sphere. More and more candidates are running for office without any type of political experience. This is because they realize that being able to connect with voters is more important than having a long list of political accomplishments.
