Managing human beings isn't easy at all because humans comes with their own authority even when they are your subordinates these shows stubbornness and rigidity .But if you encounter this set of people as a manager you can still stoop to conquer. The below tips can help you deal with the situation
Don't take it personally: start with not taking it personal some people do things out of frustration or personal issues so understand this and keep your cool.
Do try and discover the root of the problem. : try and find out the root cause of the insubordination and see if you can remedy it to have the person submit wilfully to you.
Do provide as much support as possible. . The insubordinate employee might just be seeking for your attention and support so try to provide as much support as you can.
