I have noticed some printing shops in our village to have survived the pandemic. There was even a stiff competition between 2 printing shops that are situated on the same floor of a commercial building. I had the impulse to check on the businesses for my own personal curiosity.
What do you know, the 2 printing shops are both earning good money despite the pandemic. Printing reports, articles and even books are their main fare aside from certificates and ID, photographs and even tarpaulins. For the printer ink what they use is the refillable cartridge which is cheaper. They also turn off the printer when not in use. I didn’t find any special procedure or process that they do. But they earn a profit even with the 3 personnel who does the typing job and the printing afterwards. I think the typing job is in demand because not all have the ability to type especially long manuscripts of 10 pages or more.
