It's high time we face reality and stop deceiving ourselves. If you truely want to enjoy high volume traffic to a particular link you need to review the product or the services you are promoting. Ensure that the products or services meet the needs of the target audience in such a way that they will keep buying it anytime.
Our major problem is that we promote products simply because of the money we want to make from it and not considering the value it will add to the audience.
Before you promote a link , put yourself in the shoes of the anticipated client, if you would purchase the product if someone introduced it to you.
